Question
VentureThree created a new brand for Teletext, bringing a household name into the digital age with the idea that less is more. The rebrand included a bold new tone of voice. But what was the best way to get Teletext's writers using it?
Answer
A writers’ workshop, delivered on behalf of Afia, with plenty of participation, practical tips and an extended rewriting session.
Outcome
100% positive feedback and some great new writing put straight into use. “It was a really good day. Everyone learnt a lot and found it very useful.” Anthony Chenery, Teletext Online Marketing Manager
Question
Think London, the UK capital’s foreign-direct-investment agency, asked: can you write an annual report that people will actually want to read?
Answer
We took a fresh look at the Think London brand and created a tone of voice, visual concept and structure for the report. We interviewed key people including the CEO and sifted through a sea of source material. Then we wrote all copy, including an address by Boris Johnson, Mayor of London.
Question
The directors of E.ON asked Afia for a manifesto - a guiding, energising document to help them lead the world’s largest power company into the global storm of fuel cost, carbon quotas and supply security. Could we help?
Answer
Working with Afia, we asked another question: how would great leadership look if the directors were business owners? This became a detailed proposition, written as a personal call to action from CEO Paul Golby.
What?
Coutts Trusts Tax & Estates were marking a year of achievement with a conference in Brighton. They had a heap of messages to get across. They needed a script that didn't sound scripted. And they wanted (the right sort of) funny.
How we helped
We worked with the directors and Ideal Projects production team to turn a technical sequence into a story. We got to know the brave ones who’d agreed to host, wove personalities and messages together, then rehearsed and refined until nobody needed to look at the script.
Outcome
Applause, post-event euphoria, new ideas and projects spawned; hearty congratulations from the directors and feedback forms with ticks in all the right places.
